| Hi! Hope you people are all just fine and dandy so far this week. I am. I'm sleepy though. I've been hangin with Mego cause her parents were in New York to ring the closing bell Monday. Her mom was on the tv! Anywho I spent the night at her house last night. Rick took us to a movie last night. We went and saw the Talladega Nights movie. It's funny! Then we went to Sonic and he bought us ice cream! yay! Today i had to work. My babies were good for the most part, thankfully ha!! Well that's about all that's been goin on! | Well my uncle passed away tonight. He has had lung cancer for over a year now. They removed one and just found more spots on the other one. He decided he didn't want anymore treatment. So anyway. The family is doin good though. They got to say goodbye and stuff. He told them he was ready to go home. He's lived such an incredible life! He was a prison minister and brought hundreds and hundreds of people to Christ. He knows how many but he won't tell you because he would take away from God's glory. It's amazin! We are all at peace because he got the ultimate healing! Praise God! :) | | |
| Well Pop passed away last night. He breathed almost 12 hours on his own after we took him off the ventilator. Mawmaw is doin ok today. Actually better than I thought. We went and made the arrangements today. The wake is Wednesday night from 5-8 and the funeral is at 2 Thursday. It'll be a Moore's Funeral home. I just wanted to tell ya'll. Keep prayin for the family. Ya'll have a good night! | | |
| Well, bad news. Pop is never goin to get any better. We went in last night and it was awful. He looked worse than he has been. He didn't respond at all. We all just stood there and cried and prayed. It was worse too because we had just told the nurse that if his heart stopped don't do anything to make it start again. Pop would not want to be goin through all of this. But for some reason I think he knows mawmaw needs this time so he's hangin in there. We've got to decide in the next day or so to take him off life support. The doctor said he will breathe on his own for a bit but will not be able to long. They said they could put in a tracheotomy and he would be in a nursin home but we would not do that do him. Pop loved life. All he did was make people smile. If it were up to Pop, he would turn over and pull the plug. I just pray he isn't suffering. Please pray for Mawmaw. I can't imagine what it's like to never spend the night away from somebody for 50 years and then they are gone in a second. She's a tough little thing but she's needs prayers. We all do. | | |
